  • it looks too perfect...

  • They do make it look too easy, but it blew my doors off when I saw it. I'll try again to get the original video.

  • hey just with the post of xXKariBananaXx i have had an idea like that for a while now and the only thing i got left to smooth out is if i can scan a room and make it into sort of a map for the game.....l..so do you think that this scanner can be used to scan places and use them as maps

  • @ronmobile777 ..Hey Buddy, howa re ya? Did you actually scan that or its a ready video that you just uploaded? Thank you.

  • Wow. You could use this technology to make a 3d virtual reality game where people could explore simulated replicas of actual locations.

  • We produced this movie. It was produced in Pointools View Pro and the church was scanned by APR Services in the UK with a Faro LS 880.

It's the interior St Albans Cathedra. Floor, handrail, alter + chairs are. The rest is point cloud - around 240mi points. Movie was for an architect, drawings are being produced in Pointools 4 Rhino.

There's another movie of this church on our forum. Go to pointools website and check the Users forum.

Also check out point cloud movies by UPCLMVC on YouTube.
