This was just a Routine Mission test, up until the Enemy Decided to Blast a hole through the side of the Ka-50 and then....moments later.....much, much worse. From in Cockpit view, there was little warning of what was coming, but when it happened, my view shot straight to the Outside of the Aircraft, and I was totally Shocked at what I saw considering it was still flying.....briefly.

I hope you like the Show.

  • Is this a simulator that u put on the ground an step in and play or is it for the pc

Cause i see a video where a guy steps in a simulator for DCS black shark its from cat101st

  • @KnewingFun Hi. I think you will find that both DCS BlackSharks you are speaking of, are one in the same. There is only 1 DCS BlackShark Simulator that I know of and that is the version that runs on a PC.

But...there are many video's of people who have made Simulated Cockpits to use when flying DCS BlackShark ( I'm jealous of them all :) ). I think if I were to do that, I would need to include an Ejector Seat or I would never leave the Cockpit. Eat, Sleep and Dream DCS BlackShark.

  • @KnewingFun lol. Thanks for your comment. It prompted me to do a little looking around and I discovered that DCS Black Shark 2 pulic has been released so the information I provided is....not quite right. :D

There are now 2 DCS Black Shark's. The original version and the ALL NEW DCS BlackShark 2. I'm sure it can be used with a "Sim-pit" as well.

Keep your Eye's peeled for a DCS BlackShark 2 video on my channel soon. ;)

  • @Spasticatedtoad Why does your KA-50 have "United States Army" on the side? o.o

  • @hellcatdave1 Hi. My Heli has United States on the side because you can fly for many different countries using the same helicopter. It just so happens that on this day, I was flying with a United States Colourscheme on the Ka-50. I dont know if USA has any Ka-50's, but I like the ColourScheme on this one.

  • Holy Shit, Toad. I've seen you on shikas server quite a bit. Nice vids.

  • @Flopper01Gaming . G'day Flopper. :) Thanks for watching and commenting. I really enjoy the missions on Shikas Server and they are even better when you have quite a few people in there. I haven't been able to spend as much time as I would like to lately, but I am hoping soon to be back. Moving house at the moment so it doesn't leave much time for anything else :(

Hopefully I will have a video soon, of how this mission "Should " have happened. Vast difference between this video and the next ;)

  • lol United States Army.

  • In HAF: Fly low hit hard!!!!!

  • So,the shark lost its jaws??Sweet irony...

  • @GhilliedRaptor Thanks for your comments on this video. I do have a couple more in the pipelines at the moment, but due to moving house, I have just a few other things to do at the moment. Hopefully they will be released shortly after I move. O also own the new Title DCS A-10A but have only had time to test it works and that was all in the last few months. Hoping for more time soon :D

  • @Spasticatedtoad Ah, I see. It's worthy to note however that the F-22 too, cannot fly without it's on board computers. I think you might be referring to the 'Fly By Wire' systems modern aircraft have (you can wiki it). Quote "Any movement (from straight and level flight for example) results in signals to the computer, which automatically moves control actuators to stabilize the aircraft". I believe their meaning behind keeping the plane in the air is keeping it controllable. Nice video!

  • @GhilliedRaptor. Thanks for watching. As far as I recall ( and I may be wrong about this ) , Yes, the F-15 is not Aerodynamic. It has 7 onboard computer's dedicated to helping the pilot keep the plane in the air. And if I am correect, it was described on a Show I watched as being the Key to the F-15's Success. It is not bound by the normal laws of Aerodynamics, therefore is more agile. It was described as "Un-Flyable" without the computer's assistance. Again, I could be wrong. :)

  • @Spasticatedtoad Wait, wait. The F-15 is un-aerodynamic? I'm pretty sure the only reason it flew on one wing was because it's aerodynamic and I doubt any country would make an aircraft without it being aerodynamic in mind. The fuel costs for offsetting that would be far too high(along with the fact that it's handling would be nightmarish), at least higher than it is now. Additionally, an air superiority fighter can't possibly be non-aerodynamic, can it?

  • @motokid032. DCS BlackShark can be A LOT of Fun. It has two modes you can fly in. 1 is GAME MODE ( personally, I never use it. Tried it once and it was too "Arcade" for my liking ) and the other mode is FULL SIMULATION. That's my favorite mode to fly in. This is not a simulator you can just pick up and fly without Practice. It has endlessly customizable content and missions you can share and host online. I've been addicted since day 1. Not Likely to recover from that any time soon :D

  • @DevrimBabacan. Hi :) Yes this is in Full Sim Mode. I have often wondered if this was at all possible. The only thing I could come up with is that the Onboard Computers and Gyroscopic System's may have remained intact and ( some how ) managed to keep it under control. I can't imagine that it is actually possible, but if they can make an F-15 fly, then there is a slim chance. Without onboard Computers, the F-15 could not even get off the ground it is so Un-Aerodynamic. Maybe the same case here..

  • @Spasticatedtoad

Isn't this in full sim mode? I mean, when head part fall down, the heli must be lost its balance and goes backwards etc.etc.

  • Wow, i'm really typical to X-plane helicopters but this sure does look like some fun.

  • @Onsube lol. I thought it fit pretty well. I have a real hard job trying to find music to match my clips that is royalty free. I would like everyone to be able to watch my videos. One of my videos has "Eye of the tiger " as the background music and it can not be viewed in many countries.

Thats why I prefer the Generated Music. It did a great job at matching the Video you were putting it to. I don't know why Sony Stopped supporting that add-on. It was great.

  • @Spasticatedtoad It sure as hell fits the video. Shame you don't have it.

  • @Onsube Hi. Thanks for your interest in my videos. The music in this video came from the video Editting software I used at the time. It is called Sony vegas Movie Studio Platinum. Bundled with the program was a Music generator called Cinescore. Using cinescore, you could get it to Generate music that would match the tempo of the video clip. I found it really useful for making youtube videos ( nearly all of my videos have generated music ) but Sony decided not to use it anymore and no replacement

  • Where's the music from?

  • @MrTwigalicious lol. It was a good shot wasn't it ? If you look closely in the fly-by's just prior to the fatal hit, you can see white flash's of Ammunition fired by the tanks missing the Heli by a matter of 10 feet. It'd either take Balls of steel, or pure noob to stick around under those conditions. I don't fall for that sort of thing anymore.......well, not all the time :D

  • Wow... That tank has good aim and even better range... Kudos to the gunner.
