I can agree with one thing one of the women said in this video, "It's time to make a stand", against ABC that is, for having this as an NBA intro, rather than using the classic Roundball Rock theme that NBC used that supposedly John Tesh tried to sell to them.

It expires in 2016. Yes, it will be the 2016-17 season before we'll have any chance of seeing the NBA back on NBC or CBS, or seeing it on FOX for the first time. By then, Kobe Bryant will be 38 years old, and won't be as dominant as he is now, that is if he's still playing then. Of course, there's also the chance that ABC could get another contract extension, and make everyone have to wait even longer before it goes somewhere else.

It pisses me off when TV networks insist on having sexy women sing the "theme music" for their major sports coverage. To me, it's utterly insulting to the viewers' intelligence (not to mention being corny and cheesy as hell). NBC does the same thing w/ Faith Hill and their "Sunday Night Football" coverage. Whatever happened to dramatic storytelling?
