E320 guy with a professional cameraman

The Paris-Beijing E-Class Experience is a driving enthusiast's dream. It's also a once-in-a-lifetime experience for a professional photographer. But not for Alex Heiduschka, a video cameraman hired by Mercedes to document the 13,600km trip. Alex is taking his second trek from Paris to Beijing in less than a year. He was with the scout team for the tour over the summer. The E320 guy talks with Alex about what lies ahead on the drive.

Alecs was the best. He'd do anything for a shot. When we were in Paris, he stood on a bus stop roof to get a shot. Great guy, too.

We cameramen love what we do. We put everything on the line to get the shot. Without us, there's no video, no picture, nothing.
