The San Francisco 49ers answered any questions about how legit they were, as they dominated the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football, 32-7, to overtake Chicago for the No. 2 seed in the NFC after 11 weeks of 2012 NFL action. Colin Kaepernick was magnificent, playing mistake-free football and tossing two touchdowns, and defensively, Aldon Smith stole the show, registering 5.5 sacks of Jason Campbell -- a Monday Night Football record for most sacks -- which moved him past Von Miller for the league lead, and inched him closer to surpassing Reggie White and Derrick Thomas for the most sacks through two professional seasons. Exciting stuff for Niner fans, and David Fucillo of Niners Nation has your breakdown.

Oh yeah they just need to work on there o-line and they should be pretty damn good next season and for the seahawks as long as russel wilson does his thing they are going to be scary too. Also the 49ers they may bring in something new with kap but im confident that the 49ers will return since harbaugh is a very good QB coach and he'll develop kaepernick more to his abilities but hands down NFC west is going to dominate next season

Jeff Fisher is a good coach, and if the Rams had an Offensive line worth a damn they would be dangerous. Sam Bradford is ready and he is a good QB, he just needs some help. ARI is also getting better and they have a good chance of fixing their O-line this year, but SEA is going to be the best team in the west this season. SF will falter with Kap running it. He looked good because Smith won them 6 games to start and then held his fking hand the rest of the season. That crutch is gone now.

rams match up well against the 49ers nowadays, they are becoming a good team I would not be surprised if they make the playoffs next season

GB D is weak, but Kap sure did hammer them lol. At this point I think SF will win it all. Even if Kap gets hurt they are the ONLY team left that can win it all with their back up. SF has the best 2nd string QB in the NFL. Too bad they will lose him soon though. Oh well. They gonna be 6-0 in the big game :D

Ya, but all those games Alex lost when the team was rebuilding and had NO OFFENSIVE WEAPONS or line, that was ALL Alex's fault wasn't it? GB fans will be happy to see Smith on the sidelines this week, considering he burned them for 76.9% and a rating of 125.6 in a game that 99% of the world said he would lose.

Kap will choke. You heard it here first :)
