What does the famous 4-note Intel Inside jingle mean and how does it work? What does music communicate in this 1990s ad? What other music and moods does the jingle resemble? Are marimbas "corporate"? Why no guitar? Why no quality symphony orchestra? Video illustration used in teaching Music and the Moving Image. This version used to be in two parts which had received between them 6,933 viewings on 2010-10-27.

  • The generic "World Music"-y sounding music (female vocalise singing nonsense syllables, with vaguely 'ethnic'-sounding percussion -T. Taylor) plus the dolphins is very reminiscent of Delta Air Lines' 1994 advert (/watch?v=UC6acGUnqXM) for which Karl Jenkins was commissioned to produce 'Adiemus'. Do you know which came first?
