I think this video shows what a good voice that J.H. had when she was really trying. Her voice in the movie version of Bells are Ringing isn't nearly as good.

Whenever I see Ed Sullivan again it gives me such a warm, familiar feeling....... good times revisited. Born and raised in NYC and left 1966. Ed was a staple of life at home and at my grandmother's. Actually this play and music was based on a real answering service known as The Bells. They answered our phones. I visited them one year to deliver the operators Christmas Presents from my mother. They were all delightful and unique personalities. I adored Judy. Her early death a tragic loss.
