@Algerino307 Actually, if you follow logic, one government governing the world is an unavoidable future. They're talking about an American colony on the moon. Well you can't have an American colony on the moon because America can't claim ownership over the moon. Same thing with Mars. You can have a human colony populated by an international team. But once we start moving beyond the moon, it'll just make more sense to combine governments into a single planetary body.
