Wayne Gretzky became the NHL's all-time leading point scorer on Oct. 16, 1989, and in incredible Gretzky style. He did it in his old stomping grounds, Edmonton's Northland Coliseum, with a goal that tied the game in the last minute of regulation play. And then he put an exclamation mark on the record with the game-winning goal in overtime. Other clips on Youtube show the SportsChannel America coverage or the local Los Angeles Kings broadcast. For the first time on Youtube, here is how it was called by Bruce Buchanan and Harry Neale on ITV for Wayne's former fans in Edmonton and the surrounding region.
