@DjWade3734: General starts off singing 'I wish they all could be California girls", when they are expecting to hear "Carolina GIRLS!!...They were booing the California chorus.He use to do this sometimes just to joke with his fans!! We surely miss our General Johnson. Grew up listening and shagging to their music!!

There are no words.. I have trying to ignore his passing for a month now. My dear friend.. RIP... Ken, I know you have a heavy burden on you to keep his memory alive, but I know you can do it!!! I am so sorry Danny has chosen not to stay with the group name. I know this is outside influences and I hope one day he will see the light! Godspeed Ken and good luck! And to Danny, come back! We know you know God, and this is just not right, what you are doing! We love you.. do the right thing!

My Carolina Girl wife and I have been blessed to have seen General Johnson several times in close intimate venues, not he massive crowded stadiums. He was always the showman, the professional entertainer. We will both miss his music very much, but we thank God for the modern world's fine recodings. We hope to see you @ God's Beach Music Festival, General. Rest in Peace, Sir.
