When I saw the commercial for the Doctor Who Christmas special I immediately thought of Narnia so when I finally got my hands on this episode I started devising a plot.

The Doctor discovers that a time dimensional portal has been opened and he tries to mend it. However, he is interrupted by the Pevensie family where Lucy finds the portal in the upstairs wardrobe. The Doctor follows Lucy into the portal and they discover that something is wrong, so they leave. Lucy tells them about the world in the wardrobe and therefore Susan goes to the Doctor (who is also pretending to be the master of the house) to ask him about it. The Doctor keeps it from her because something is amiss there and he doesn't want any harm to come to the children. The Doctor works to try and close the portal, but once again is interrupted by Edmund who travels into the portal while he is trying to close it. He takes the family with him to find his brother, hoping they would know where he would go. After seeing Edmund walk into the White Witches castle (who has been a long-term enemy with the Doctor) the Doctor takes them to the tree people to discover what is going on. He discovers that the White Witch lured Edmund into the wardrobe to act as bait for the Doctor, but will she win?

Quotes:
"People can never resist a door."
"It's okay. You're fine, don't worry."
"Do you know the difference between wind and trees talking to each other?"
"I don't know."
"No wind. I've been here many times, but I've never heard the trees so active. Something's wrong!"
"We have to go...now!"
"She thinks she's found a magical land... in the upstairs wardrobe."
"I mean, logically it's impossible!"
"Story of my life."
"What are you doing?"
"Rewiring."
"Your brother, where is he?"
"There is something very wrong in this forest. And your brothers right in the middle of it."
"You're coming was foretold."
"Behold, the great Doctor."
"We'll see him again."
"When?"
"In time."
"What are you?"
"I'm the Doctor. I was here to help."

  • This is sooooooooo cool :D

  • After watching this, I had to cover my ears to keep the goo that used to be my brain from leaking out. In other words, this blew my mind.

  • @JainaEowyn Hahaha! Ahh well the wait is ALMOST over! Thank you!

  • So. Perfect. Like, I can't even...

My first thought when I saw the trailer was, "NARNIA IN A BOX!!" so I'm glad I wasn't the only one. Except... I promised my best friend I would wait to watch it till he got back from Christmas break so we could watch it together like always... so now I still have to wait a week from Friday, and this just made me about ready to die from suspense.
