i hope i dont get bashed for saying this... and i know alot of peeps on here are huge Carter fans... but the team is doing so much better without him, not taking away form his skills and expirience, but after his poor performance at the tri nations in brissy im actually very happy Weepu and Cruden is sharing his role... and as for Slade, not feeling at ease yet with him on the feild... but i still love them :)

Seriously, it's a crying tragedy for Carter. He's done so, so much and deserves to be part of this more than anyone. I defy anyone not to have welled up for him when they heard the announcement.

its just sad how new zealand invested 3 years into stephen donald only to drop him in the world cup year.. they then invest in a ROOKIE, who wasn't even on the end of last years tour. Throw him in the deep end, but that was alright because he was just back-up... but now hes not back-up.. the worst has happened and carters out. Bringing in another rookie aaron cruden, putting a halfback into first five.... graham henry ur time is 4 years overdue, u had ur chance in 07. but nz never learns........
