Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) held its Spring 2014 Commencement ceremony on Friday, May 2 at 6:30 p.m. in the Adena Hall gymnasium on the COTC Newark campus.
A total of 236 graduates were eligible to receive associate degrees and certificates. COTC President Bonnie L. Coe, Ph.D., presided over the ceremony.
Gregory A. Wallis, R.N., B.S.N., CNOR, delivered the commencement address. Wallis, a graduate of COTC's nursing program, is currently Assistant Vice President of Outpatient Services at Licking Memorial Health Systems.
Average age of graduates is 31; ages range from 19 to 64.
Graduates represent 14 of Ohio's 88 counties.
