@sagalat Me too, I always thought the Hayden sonatas were really boring, even after hearing it from my favorite pianists, until Lang Lang's version at Carnegie Hall!

Many don't like LL, either due to total jealousy or ignorance.
LL brings a new generation of fans back into the classics, and therefore he is very important in that regard to bridge the old stiff generations into the new crazy kids growing up today with all their electronic distractions.
He shows us that it's still great to play a piano, and that we can still work hard and have fun at the same time.
