  • good work but little to expensive for generator and pelton wheel in a case i think manufacturing of this costs about 100 to 200 bucks so where goes the rest 90%? poeople dont bee too greedy on the devices that could make population free from energy companys

  • $2000 is just still too damned expensive. Solution: crank them out by the thousands in China

  • @ismasamov55 I agree, but if they were cheaper, more people would buy them and go off grid.....but compared to solar panels, 1100 watts/hour for a mere $2000 is damn cheap, especially when hydro is available for 24 hours, rather than only 3.5 to 6 hours/day from solar!

  • @thehappyinfidel2011 it means counting the power you use and only running what is needed, not all the stuff that many think they need....indeed, if everyone actually counted how much power they use, they'd realise how much they waste and maybe electricity/energy bills would be lower.....meaning more money in the pocket!!

  • @thehappyinfidel2011 1100 watts/hour isn't anything to brag about.....over 24 hours thats 26400 watts, far more than the average house uses or even needs....if your pumping that into a reasonably sized battery bank, and using the excess to run the fridge/freezer and other essential appliances(essential for life that is), you've got the batteries for power on demand that's well in excess of 1100 watts...living offgrid means a lifestyle change. cont...

  • hi can any sent me a link on were to buy the microhydropower.sent it to peterthunder23@hotmail.com thank you

  • That's the problem. No one wants to make a "fair" profit anymore. They all expect to be millionaires tomorrow and us to pay for it. How long has that system been around? Gimme a break.... 1100 watts isn't anything to brag about.

  • Im 17 and i just thought of an even more amazing idea to generate electricity without even leaving your house. I need someone to help me get a loan to get my amazing Power Generating idea out there..

  • 2000! jeez. 800 on ebay

  • Why cant we stop serving the buck ????

  • @Jeanguytherelvio That wastes power because the pump has to work harder to turn it, energy is never free

  • In places where large, slow spinning, blade systems have been installed, Fish kill hasn't been a problem. They are still unsightly and people will complain
