i sing this in choir but we sing english and german with different lyrics than yours

really good! we were going to sing this for choir, but our teacher ended up making us sing something else! I was really upset b/c I think this is a really pretty song!

I really do like your singing even because it is a brilliant effort for your young years!
But the voice singing Hänsel's part (contralto) sounds a bit like she was singing musicals more often?
And the soprano voice seems to make the high notes a bit too expanded/broad (excuse me if I don't find the right words, I'm german *g*).
Do you have singing lessons? (:

Yes both of us do.
Yes we both do =) Me (sop) for four and a half years and my friend (contralto) for a year and a half. I think my problem is that for the first three years of my singing lessons I learned classical songs and took ABRSM exams whereas I've only recently switched to theatre and am taking thames valley exams, whereas my friend went straight into theatre music.

Yes the quality is bad. In a week we are entering the Bristol Eistedfod with it, and will hopefully get my Dad to record it with my video camera so I'll be able to get a better quality video up :)

we are singing this in choir and i've only heard it when its my part or the alto's part so its so beautiful together. nice work. sounded a lil stressed on high notes but how old are you?

We're both fifteen thanks for the nice comments :) The high notes were a little stressed lol not helped by my rubbish camera
