I thought this was BS for the first 20 min but here's what you do
There are 3 STARS you have to find and press R1 on top of (I pressed it like 5 times walking in the general area around the star just to be 100% sure - you know how sometimes you get close to a chest or something and R1 doesn't pop up just right) The 3 stars here in this video are at time points where he's paused at:
1) 29 seconds
2) 39 seconds
3) 1:06 seconds (where all the red orbs come out)

There's a chest behind the tree that you can see as you're running, but they're not related. If you press R1 on the 3 locations of the stars then the last one pours out red orbs and writes a neat little note in the sky. It's cut off in this video, but youtube some more "God of War 2 Easter Eggs" and you'll come across it. There is at least 1 more, but I think 2 Easter Eggs like this with writing in the sky. Haven't confirmed those yet though.
