During the presidential campaign, Barack Obama repeatedly stated that, if elected president, he would pursue real, direct, and sustained diplomacy, without preconditions, with Iran. Indeed, he said it so many times you'd think he wouldn't need reminding.

While the President has made some positive steps in the direction of diplomacy, the administration's apparent dismissal of Iran's recent agreement to send 2,640 pounds of its low-enriched uranium to Turkey within a month is troubling. It is our responsibility to continue to remind the President of his commitments and to urge the administration to pursue real, direct and sustained diplomacy. That means considering the confidence-building measure brokered by Turkey and Brazil.

The foreign policy is not in the control of the President of the United State. During the campaign he uses the rational reasoning, but after the election this reasoning is out the window and the interest groups influence and hijack the policy. If you want change in the US foreign policy, keep these groups in check.

He is such great person. Will his entourage whether American or Iranian hawks prevent him from the talk with the Islamic Republic of Iran?
