    i would say they made him emotionless to match the fact that he was relying on intellect alone, which led to his bad decisions. in the episode after pain in the heart, brennan is seen warning students to rely on more than just intellect, but on morals and your heart/gut feelings.

    Oh god, Eric Millegan is such a good actor x)

    Zack Addy is one of my favorite characters I've ever come across, and he seriously makes me smile. His character has such cute quirks. All of that aside, I cried like a little baby when everything happened in season 3 (no spoilers). Ahhhh, Zack Addy.
