  • @billbadford I'd have to hear the two side by side/the original. I only own Sgt. Pepper, and I've really only heard the big name Beatles songs

  • @DimensionsofChange Maybe. I thought Spector did OK with it, although I think he could have dumped the Tabernacle-type choral background singers he used on it.

  • @billbadford I figured people just hated the Wall of Sound version of the Beatles

  • @DimensionsofChange The "Let It Be ... Naked" CD that came out a few years ago was McCartney's solution to something that had bugged him for decades - he had Spector's fingerprints completely removed from the "Let It Be" recordings. I'd call that hatred.
