ArtsFest Prep: Gilded Nests of the Sunbirds

In the Thunderland Forest, gilded bushes grow from the ashes of the sunbirds who lay their eggs in acorn shells hung from their branches. A sunbird lives for one day, then burns like a Phoenix that does not rise again.

"Gift of the Magi" is a tale of doomed love told with marionettes, set to live music by a_Scissors. It will be performed in its 25-minute incarnation at the Audubon Park Community Market, held in the parking lot of Stardust Video & Coffee, on February 7th, 2011. This performance is free to the public thanks to the generous sponsorship of ArtsFest, a project of United Arts of Central Florida.
