Matt is writing with a lot of old and new co-writers for album #3, both American and UK writers. He wrote in both LA and NYC while in the US in Jan. He has been in the studio with Ben Earle who he wrote Anywhere with and James Walsh who he wrote Lately with. He recently tweeted about working with Andy Brown from Lawson and Josh Kumra, who co-wrote Wretch 32's big hit and he has lots of songs that he wrote for Letters and The Fire, that were not used yet. Can't wait for solo album #3,

I love the fact that Matt is so versatile. Whether it's haunting ballads, catchy pop or gritty rock, Matt can do it all. The whole of his recent unplugged concert is available on you tube, thanks to the brilliant editing of a fan. If you haven't already, check it out. It's not quite the same as being there but it's the next best thing.
