A new unopened trail in Cannock Chase. Now know as the Monkey Trial part of the Phase II development of the cross country route on the chase.

don't care on whether it had official status or not but the awesome old Monkey should've been left damn well alone under Phase II. riding it on bleak wednesday nights through winter are sorely missed.

I love the monkey :) Not sure if you guy's needed all the gear though, Shin pads and all that stuff, I mean its only a 14 mile, Red route and the Black obstacles aren't that bad.

on the main road that links cannock to rugley, coming from cannock past hednesford its on the right hand side up there, where the events are held, look closley you will find it.

This sounds like a stupid question but would a saracen mantra 3 be ok for this sort of stuf up the chase.

No problem, most bikes will cope with the chase apart from some of the D/H lines at Stile Cop.

is it any good for a bmx? i cant really afford a good mountain bike atm and i really want to go on it:)

It would be a challenge on a BMX but I am sure it could be done. Let me know if you try it.
