I was a part-time Hawaiian Language kumu at Halau Lokahi teaching k-2 grades. This is Hui 'Omaka, consisting 1st and 2nd graders. This night was 'Ohana/Ho'ike night where we got to show their parents what they have learned and to put on a little show. I am not a ukulele player, so I did mess up and since I was nervous I forgot some lyrics"/ on top of that I was still sick so my singing wasn't as well as I wanted it to be. Anyways, these keiki did a wonderful job, I made all the costumes and was the director of this skit with the help of my mother=] Mahalo to everyone who supported us=]
This is precious!
You did a good job with them!
