Charlie Blast's Territory, Multi Player, Levels 1-15, Boards 1-45, Passwords & New bombs: Introduction.

Welcome to the final part of this walkthrough a quick look at all 45 of the "Multi Player" boards. You should be able to discover from this video how many players are needed, and which level to set the game at to get a wanted board. There are no computer players so at least two controllers have to be inserted in order to access the "Multi Player" mode. Each of the 15 Levels has three boards, depending on if your playing with, two, three or four players. Every player has their own home base, the colored squares at the start of the battle, no bombs can change these base colors. There are any where from 1-9 base squares, one of these will continually generate a bomb. A new bomb will not be generated for you if your previous bomb has not been moved from your base squares, or if a opponent places a bomb on your base area. There is no jumping or changing the camera angle in "Multi Player" mode. All of the players have the same abilities and walk the same speed, even though the instructions say Troll is "slower and dimmer then Charlie."

You can return to your base's bomb generator at any time by pressing the the "L" button, this will however return your score of colored areas to zero, and destroy any bombs that are in your base area. This also happens if you get blown up in "Territorial Mode".

The multiplayer or "Multi Player" levels in this game can be played in two different modes.

"Survival Mode" where the last player still standing at the end of the time wins, the time for each depends on which board is being played, from 45 up to 180 second. If a player blows themselves up in 'Territorial Mode' there will automatically be a second round of battle, even in a "One Round" battle and if there is a winner. A tie game can also be made if both players are blown up, or don't score, this also will lead to a demandatory 'Second round'. Theoretically getting tie game could last indefinitely, I've played over 10 rounds with a tie, even though the number of rounds you can select from the menu is 1, 3, or 5. "Continuous" play has no effect on 'One Round' games, but if you select 3 or 5 round games, the board will be changed one level upward, if you were playing 3 player on Level 15, the next round will be Level 1 board for 3 player, and the next round after that Level 2 board for three players and so on.

"Territorial Mode" is the same as Survival, but instead of the round ending when you get blown up, it clears all the colored squares you made and sets your score back to zero. A tie game is still possible, by not painting any squares, or having the same number of squares as an opponent. This also can be played theoretically endlessly if the players get continual tie games.

The difficulty settings only add a extra type of bomb to the multiplayer games. The instruction booklet lists them as "Freeze Cubes" even though it's a round clear fuse bomb, "Blockers", and "Line Bombs". As I mentioned before I prefer to use my own names for certain bombs.
* "Beginner" game has bombs 2, 3 and Fuse bomb (FB).
* "Intermediate" game has 2, 3, FB, and a block that cannot be moved by your opponents.
* "Advanced" game has 2, 3, FB, Block, Ice Bomb (IB) which will freeze all your opponents.
* "Expert" game has 2, 3, FB, Block, Ice Bomb, and Row Bomb (RB), which colors a entire row of spaces your color. If you light it from below, it will blow up as a 2 bomb in every direction but up, and instead of the usual 2 bomb area upward all the floor tiles above the bomb, in that row will be changed, except of course opponents bases. This will work if you are on the left side and light it, the RB will continue coloring along that row to the right and so on. If you use another bomb to destroy these RB's they only explode as a 2 bomb. The RB's also have a blue nose that will tell you which way they are about to color a row.

Remember in Multiplayer games that you can use the other players bombs to color your squares as long as you light the fuse bomb that explodes them, re-lit the fuse bomb, or pushed a already lit fuse bomb, the explosion and its colors will count as yours. You can't be hurt by an explosion if you are standing on your bomb generator square.
