Kerry,

You are missing the true points.

You are shooting tethered. A fancy word means being stuck with a cable, from camera to computer.

You do not need Lightroom 3.0 to use AK1 Un-Tethered.

Can Lightroom do wireless Live-view & record audio/video?

Why do people buy Pocket Wizard Plus II? Because very few people tethered their flashes.

If a hd tv comes with a tethered (cord) remote control unit, would people buy it?

@angelisone Can AK1 Un-Tethered use my Lightroom presets? Does it do my image processing? Does it do my cataloging? Does it do my exporting with my watermarking? So for me, I will take the downsides of tethering with Lightroom over having to have a separate product on top of Lightroom.

Tethered Shooting?

Have your pc mod with ATG AK1 Un-Tethered Systems and you don't need Lightroom.

Shoot RAW/JPEG wireless to pc.

Adjust all settings & modes from camera or pc.

Have dual live-views.

@angelisone Thanks for spamming every post, blog, video, and comment about Lightroom 3 tethering on the planet, but sorry, yours is not a valid option if I want to tethered shoot AND apply my import presets at the same time. I still NEED Lightroom for my processing with your app, so you don't save me any money, you cost me more because I need both.

I'd love to see Live Preview in the LR to allow proper positioning of the subject. Auto Focus functionality would also be a nice function. Maybe in LR 4 :-)

Got a Problem: EOS 50D is always Busy when it is conected to the Computer, EOS Utility works fine, but Lightroom can't capture a photo?

Any sugestions?

I just bought the sony slt-a55 for an upcoming trip to Europe and found out that in Lightroom there are presets at all for this camera. Can't do tethered capturing either. Should I exchange the camera for one for which there are presets or do you think they will show up eventually with software updates?
