I've set up this rest for a few of my customers against my warnings they wanted it anyway. 4 of the 5 I have set up returned the rest because it broke in the store while they tested it and tried to tune it. The other customer gave up and grabbed a QAD because this rest was a pain to set up.

i had that.... it broke within the first 5 shots

that nap quicktune flipper is a POS. when you creep the arrow it falls down and you have to reset the arrow. very quiet though. but from what i hear the new freedom doesnt fall down

ya this would be good if i wanted my arrow getting jerked right as i hit the release fuckin tools

@blorchdude4 i was at a 3d shoot, and this guy had a kinetic energy fall away rest just like this rest, and he showed me how it was used, and without an arrow on the rest, he clipped on his release to the string, pulled it back about an inch or 2 and let go and the rest went down.

@playerplaya69 thats completely wrong it does not fall because of vibration retard learn some facts before you try to act smart dumb ass

Flipper was the model released one year prior to the Freedom. Hasn't been offered from NAP for years. The Freedom is really a good rest with lots of happy customers. That being said, there are only a few ways I know of to break the head of the rest. Having a bow with severe nock travel, drawlength too long (which causes the head of the rest to rock forward close enough to the let down mech. which in turn causes the rest to stay up when it should fall) or creeping.

The Quick Tune Freedom rest Is a peice of crap .Dont buy does not work right at all ..... I resently bought the RIP CORD RED for my mathews bow the best on the market today..
playerplaya69, it does not fall due to the vibration of the bow, but rather the movement of the arrow going forward. You can shake it all you want to and it will not fall. if you post something, or tell anybody anything, make sure you know it as a fact.

I just wanted to let everyone know that the Flipper rest has been replaced by the much better QuikTune FREEDOM rest. This rest stays up when you need to let your bow down. It only shoots when you pull the trigger. Also, the rest has urethane friction rings that are whisper quiet and durable.
