I just got back from Quest Camp. He was there and I was saved. It was the most amazing experience ever!!!

Actually....out of LOVE, Jesus willingly and joyfully went to the cross to pay the penalty for all of humanities sins, conquering death, saving us from eternal suffering and allowing us to have a relationship with Him and live with Him forever. Sounds pretty loving to me.
