because most of us are brainwashed by the media. The beauty of it is that a small percentage of us are lucky enough to be able to appreciate good music. I'm just thankful I don't have to share my taste with the idiots who listen to beyonce or taylor swift. Beirut is beautiful and just being able to listen is truly a privilege.

I can't believe I never watched this before! This is lovely as are all Beirut related things. While I don't think it is nice to criticize people for listening to some mainstream pop (there is depth and beauty in everything if you look enough) Beirut is my favorite band and I think Zach and those who collaborate with him are amazing, sincere, inspirational and a gift to the world.

@HyperBlondeRikku when you are going wild wild in a club you don't want to hear beirut, but you do when you're walking home. Every music is enjoyable at different moments. If you always listen to things like beirut, in every situation you are ignorant and it's because you don't want to be affiliated with the group that makes the same mistake with their music. Why would you limit yourself to a few bands? step over the mental barrier and enjoy everything!
