My Compaq Presario F560EM laptop has the exact same problem with the wireless not working, but after its warmed up and I turn it off and let it cool it works again till I reboot it.

still live and kicking with the wifi on standing here on my desktop.
gotta reboot it a few times to get the wifi working but when its powered on it useally keeps working. :)

that laptop is going to die soon. i have hte f557us (same exact thing) mine died after the 6100GO fried the mobo working under normal condition. hope u still ahve the receipt.
