  • What would Segovia do nowadays: probably rise up from his grave to execute judgement.

What would Segovia have done in his lifetime if he tried to play this piece: he would have died instantly (massive failure of 10 fingers, quadruple heart attack, brain fever, multiple strokes, apoplexies, lockjaw...all at the same time. Ha, ha, ha. With all due respect to Segovia, he wouldn´t even consider such a piece because he had his only wonderful musical universe to express himself in.

  • this is fantastic playing, Mr. Kanengiser. Great playing for a great piece. Loved it.

  • HOLLY CRAP..

  • #Unique #Guitar playing

  • @GuitarOfTruth good main theme, well developed, interesting harmonic changes, and most of all fun! Not to mention the chance to improvise a little.

  • @classicalmannick101

In what why is it neat from a jazz perspective?

  • @GuitarOfTruth i think you are being quite oblivious to the fact that this piece is not meant to be something standard in the repertoire of a CLASSICAL guitarist. Sure thats what Kanengeiser labels himself as, but he plays a lot of alternative repertoire too. Don't expect something from a performance that obviously isn't meant to be delivered. And i don't think this is gimmicky at all - from a jazz perspective, its pretty neat.

  • @sir1920

I agree!!! Its just a gimmicky piece- all the rage in the States, sadly. Kanengiser obviously has good technique, but if he has any musical depth, a piece like this wont let him express it.

  • Wonderful my friend !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @sir1920 lol, really guy? You're a very narrow minded and opinionated person. I saw Gabriel Bianco play too: his technique is flawless but he has no expression. It was a boring and stale performance and lacked musicality. If he's a genuis than I quit guitar, lol.

  • AWESOME PERFORMANCE - MAGNIFICENT !!!!!!!

  • Great video and music!*****

    BRAVO!!!
