Accra Mall and Surroundings, Ghana 10-06-09.ASF

Accra Mall, "The Mall With it All", is the first World Class Shopping Centre in Ghana with an exciting concept of one stop shopping. The mall is the first modern shopping center in Ghana. Located at the cross roads of the Tetteh Quarshie Interchange and the Spintex Road; just 5 minutes away from the Kotoka International Airport.

This video was taken in 2009, aboard our group's tour bus, after we had arrived at the Kotoka International Airport in Accra, Ghana and wanting to shop for something to eat. Accra Mall, just opened the previous year, was our first tourist stop and shop. Here in our conversation, we marvel at finding a Shoprite Supermarket (Shoprite in Africa vs. the Shoprite Supermarkets in the NY/NJ U.S.). The video is outside the mall, and proceeding along our bus route through surrounding areas leading out of Accra to our hotel, located in Elmina, Ghana.
