    What I would like to know is "WHO is the bass player?" man, that guy can really play the bass. His bass line is bettter than any bass line I have ever heard. Hands down. He is really rolling with this song and makes the song a huge hit. That guy is just OFF THE CHAIN WITH THAT BASS. Period.

    Imagine this even if this would make you mad, but Lady Gaga singing this. I am neither a fan of hers but it would weird to hear her rendition of it. I like Smokey Robinson and the Miracles version and Kim Carnes. I don't know if anyone else ever covered it.

    On this day in 1980 {August 9th} Kim Carnes performed "More Love" on the late Dick Clark's American Bandstand...

    Three months earlier on May 31st it entered Billboard's Hot Top 100 chart; eventually it peaked at #10 and spent 19 weeks on the Top 100...

    It reached #46 in Australia...

    Originally recorded by Smokey Robinson & the Miracles in 1967; their version peaked at #5 on Billboard's R&B chart and at #23 on the Hot Top 100...

    I do love Kim's rendition, but I think Smokey could take her in a head to head. I always liked the rawness of her version. Her voice is so unique.
