What would have been the point of making it a puppet when Afghanistan has always been in a cosy relationship with the Soviet Union as far back as 1917.

the soviet invasion killed 2 million Afgan civilians.

that's a hundred times worse than what israel ever did.

yet Galloway constantly critisizes israel but defended the soviet occupation of Afganistan.

same goes for China's occupation of Tibet and Sudan's genocide in Darfur.

Galloway defended all those things
