Holly Spangenberg, 15, performing "Nigun," the middle movement of Ernest Bloch's "Baal Shem: Three Pictures of Chassidic Life" for Violin and Piano (Linda Perry, accompanist). The performance was given Sunday, August 1, 2010, at a violin master class at the American Suzuki Institute in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. The clinician was David Perry, professor of violin at the University of Wisconsin (Madison). Holly, a homeschooled student from Thiensville, Wisconsin, began studying violin just before her 6th birthday.
