He probably did not really know it, as he knew that 1 way or another he could be famous if he wants, only because of the fame of his brothers. That made him an even rarer gem. thanks 4 ur comment!

Barry Gibb is just the best song writter ever, also Robin his brother is amazing at writting songs. In fact, when Barry Robin and Maurice were recording in the studio they came up with great songs. But to make the story short, the stuff they wrote for Andy was so unike, that late seventies pop sound was truly amazing. The BEEGEES had great scucess with it.

I am really well versed in 70s and early 80s music; and shamefully have never heard this one! Thanks so much for posting it; but the quality is so poor; which is NO FAULT of your own (due to its age). I sure wish I could here it in all its glory though.

Well, you have a gr8 taste in music! I strongly recommend you get (ebay is your best bet) a copy of Andy Gibb's "After Dark" album, it is one of his best material, certainly his best love songs. There is no better place to start for a Bee Gees or an Andy admirer.

This song, and Dreaming On are my faves from this LP. It seems amazing that he would have been 52 this year. Forever young and beautiful; forever with this beautiful voice that could make angels cry. Happy belated B-day, Andrew. Miss you bad.

This is such a beautiful song by Andy.  He had such a innocence about him. Loved the subtle sexy style in which he always dressed. We must bring the tight pants back! :)

He was generally the main writer when he wrote with Andy, but certainly not with his other brothers.

Actualy Andy worte some beatiful songs hisself. WORDS AND MUSIC and ME WITHOUT YOU are just two. Yes the songs his brothers wrote for him or co wrote with him got the attention but Andy was as capablr as his brothers but his writting were largely overlooked and rarely played if ever on the radio stations. . Andys older brothers are awesome songwriters but so is / was thier baby brother. The talent gene ran deep in all four brothers. RIP angel Andy and my beloved Mo. FOREVER LOVE MISS ROBIN
