Brantford Mall - 20080903 - Detunicari soundtrack

Well you've seen the video on YouTube about the Brantford Mall in 1990... here it is in 2008. Demolition day is close at hand all the stores are empty except Zehrs.

I've decided to include two Detunicari tracks from the album V on Poor Little Music for you and local from Brantford. The sound is much more interesting then the nothing that you hear during the video.

The wall mural that was between the Cinema and the LCBO has been preserved by the Brant Museum and Archives.

Whoa whoa whoa! WHAT?! Demolition day? What are you talking about??? What's going on?! I live in Brantford, but I've been over here in Europe for the past year so I don't know what's happening. What's going on with the Brantford Mall?! Somebody talk to me! :-/

I also remember the shapes on the floor as a kid, the big traingle square and circle tiles...

I grew up in the 70's and shopped at what was then Woolco and drank orange juice at Orange Julius at that carpeted funky little stand outside the Woolco entrance and rode the little rides. In the 80's I spent my first paycheques at BiWay and bought my magazines at Butts and Bows. I remember as a kid there was a ramp with rumble strips at the side of Loblaws (later Zehrs) and i got to ride in the cart for that bit,lol.

Oh bye bye my sweet mall. Sad Igrew up in that mall but it was a dump.

lol...i live in brantford too.:)..the theatre is a waste of brantfords money but is nice

Parts of the mail is now in the Brant Museums collection so it will live for more years
