20 years ago I built this same model. Mine came with a little electric motor that was hooked up to a propeller and a cam that made the boat do a figure 8. I shot at it with a bebe gun for quite a while. I got distracted and came back hours latter to find it gone. I got in a motor boat and found it 2 miles away half full of water still doing figure 8s. The motor quite working a long time ago but, I still have my Lindberg Hood.

pretty cool model! Looks great, what did you use for motor? does it run at scale speed as well?

This boat uses a 380 motor with 4AA cells 4.8Volts. Never mond the scale speed unless we have scale water too.
