@SamuraiFoochs Hm, well said. Although since autotune has been thoroughly abused in the latter part of the 00's, I have since nurtured a growing dislike of it. I guess I should open my mind a little more though - as long as it adds effect and is not a cheat's way out of singing in the correct pitch.

@politicalpoo I see what you mean but I actually think autotune used for effect can sound really effing cool, like in this song. Of course it's possible to oversaturate, and today's music definitely does, but this is one case where I believe it actually adds something, it's clearly just used for effect (like a guitar pedal for the voice) and honestly this song is, as I recall, the better part of a decade old (2003 maybe?) which is before autotune got run into the ground.

@PooderRodney I get your point. I'm not mad at them; merely disappointed. Still a great song though. It's just before the age of autotune, there were much more able singers who didn't need the help of autotune to sound okay. Now that autotune is around, some mediocre singers can make their way to the top amongst those who have natural talent for singing. I mean, 70's and 80's music were great!

@politicalpoo The point is you can't be mad at them for using it when i'm sure that kid is such a fucking hypocrite because most everyone uses autotune. If he doesn't like it then he needs to learn how to sing instead of saying "Hey, you need to not use autotune because I don't like it in the songs that you make". Like derp, make your own damn music and don't use autotune and you'll see just how harmless it really is.

@PooderRodney Autotune is commonly perceived as a short cut to achieving a correct pitch instead of relying on natural voice. The dude's probably disappointed like me because the singer has a good voice that doesn't need to rely on auto-tune, even if it was to achieve some sort of strange robotic effect :O
