That's some pretty ingenious use of the native character graphics. Looks like fun, too.

the zx81 had 1k memory!!! to play games you had to buy a 16k ram pack.. classic

i had a zx81 and when i bought the 16k ram pack the machine was slower :-)

Call me crazy... But am I the only one that thinks this music goes with the game sort of? I usually hate music being overlayed onto unrelated games, but this just seems to go with it... Maybe because the buzzing at the beginning sounds like it could've come from a tape loader? =o

I used to spend hours entering the program data, only to find it never worked. I would stay up all night fixing the bugs, and get wrong at school the next day for falling to sleep :)
