  • @HateYuTube What facts are there? i didnt even say anything about thaksin in my comment? I can see your just some douche bag trying to start shit by commenting on 10 or 15 comments in a row.

  • @HateYuTube

I have NEVER said that Thaksin was a representative for democracy. All I said was that the answer to dealing with political opponents wasn't to kill them by bullets, but to shut them up with words.

No one deserves to die as I see it, not even the worst of humans; I don't believe in death penalty.

I know the Thais and TH well enough to say that TH will not see real democracy in the next 50 - 100 years, due to poor education and the general lack of will to change things among people.

  • You know, Thailand came close to having a democracy. In my opinion, I think Thaksin ruined it. He could have been a caring, smart, leader, who's not so greedy. But he was too greedy, and he corrupted so much out of the country and our taxes that nobody could have forgiven him. With him as a leader, nobody could rise up against him because he controls the market. He was a capitalist and popularist. Because he was way too greedy, the coup happened. Then after that, no Thais could trust any leader.

  • @SaveSiamPlease Do you know how Thaksin keeps people on his side? He creates a brand, which is his party. There's a rule that if you leave a party less than 90 days ago, you will not be able to participate in elections. If someone leaves, Thaksin simply collapse the parliament, preventing that person from running in the next election. And that is how he keeps politicians in that cycle. The only way to break that brand was the coup, which is not ideal, but what would YOU do?

  • @jooljetkmae Oh my god. Do you read the news at all? If you do, you will know, that that money came from people's taxes. He's making profit out of the policies he created, and fundings he gets from stuff like the airport. The only problem that's wrong with him, is that he's way too greedy above normal. He saves 1/8th of the money and hand out to the poor (thus helping them) and he keeps 7/8th of the profit himself. He also cheats with his taxes. Look it up.

  • @Sanouvong62 invite him back to Thailand to play golf with you ;) see if he will come.

  • @Komsan6063 Get your facts straight. He didn't just get exiled. He was sentenced to jail, but he wouldn't come back to face his charges. Also, homeboy, he's constantly richer and richer despite the fact that they confiscated his assets. Now why do you think he's got plenty left to use? Hint: undeclared assets.

  • @Tycetto I think that he is saying it won't save him from all those who hate him. If he comes back, somebody's gonna shoot him one day because they simply want him to die and get lost, so that everything will end. Also, there is no such thing as true democracy. Do you know Thaksin is real good friends with Hun Sen from Cambodia? He's now Hun Sen's financial advisor. Now why do you think that is? He's got a lot of skeletons in the closet, it will take a decade for Thailand to heal from.

  • @Tycetto My god, don't even start talking about democracy. Can you tell me. What is democracy? You clearly haven't been in Thailand long enough. You need to understand the culture of Thai people, and you need to study the history of Thai politics. True the royal institution isn't the answer. Don't talk about killing off opponents, because Thaksin and his alliances kill his opponent just as much. You need to look into his case more before you call Thaksin democracy.

  • go on Thaksin
