Relive the last days of the streetcar in Cleveland with this lyrical, avant-garde film completed shortly after they were gone forever. Catch a glimpse of Cleveland in the 1950s and witness people from all walks of life rubbing shoulders in cramped cars as seen through the lens of acclaimed local photographer Jasper Wood.
See this film in high-resolution on the big screen at the Lakewood Public Library on December 13 at 7:00 p.m.
Great footage. Tolerable editing. Insufferably "look how cutting edge I am" soundtrack. Seriously, who scored this? Meth addles hamsters with a toy piano, a jaw harp and a thrift shop mic? Good stuff, though.

A prosperous civilized city before it became a hellhole. So sad.
