  • I like it...but it doesn't have any feeling...

  • and also it is hard to sing this type of song because it is such a soulful song and they took a very operetic and classic take on this which was the wrong way to go with this song but it fits into the repetoire of the group...thank you for sharing this video with us and you did a great job given the stylistic choices made...it wasn't a bad performance...you sang it beautifully in the style chosen...

  • no feeling.

  • Amazing performance!! Amazing harmonies and lead!! The comments below.. You guys I assume, listen to Rebecca Black evwn during the days it isnt necessary to listen to her. This was amazing xx :)

  • lovely. but ultimately a fail. it shows from 2.07 onwards and is quite fortunate to end where it does. x

  • @musicofficeghost if you think they took an 'operatic' take, you obviously haven't listened to much opera.

  • Wow, there seems to be many opinions ranging from the quality of the soloist to the way the piece is arranged. First, I love this soloist. She stays pretty true to the original, but she also manages to put a little of herself in the performance. I agree with the comment that the original was more soulful, while this rendition is a bit more classical choral. I think it works well. I have one criticism and it involves the voice leading choices and harmonies. Beyond that, this is stellar!

  • sounds good but i agree that it has no feeling in it

  • I loved it! Every time this song is sung it doesnt have to sound exactly like Tiffany Taylor sung it. Tiffany Taylor has a VERY UNIQUE sound, as does the soloist in this video.

  • honestly, the girl singing the solo ruined it for me. first of all, it's an acapella group. there has to be someone in there with an alto voice who could do this song justice. smart, yea. talent, not for this song on the solo part. and what is with the pitchy screaming? this song is too big for her.

  • The Opportunes never fail. Smart and talented!! =)

  • this was a pretty good rendition.

it could use some more feeling though.

but the fact that the soloist has a beautiful voice can't be discounted.
