@dikdix There's one in Roseville, by Macomb Mall.

Funny story... in Lake Forest (where Del Taco is now based) there are two Del Tacos across the street from each other... this is because one of them was originally a Naugle's.
-
1964 I think. Originally called Casa Del Taco. Plenty of info if you Google it.

Del Taco Owns...

yeah!

cool! do you prefer DT to Taco Bell?
-
Yes. It was Naugles. The two merged at some time. I searched and found that Michigan now has 4 Del Tacos, all in Metro Detroit. Ohio has a few as well. I would still take a DT burrito over anything on the Taco Bell menu.

anyone that lived in socal in the 80's remember noggles?

Preferred Del Taco to Taco Hell growing up in SoCal. Would go to one on El Toro and Trabuco Roads in El Toro, and just past La Paz and Marguerite in Mission Viejo. Their burritos always kicked arse. "Over and over and over again, Del Taco is the place to be!" went one of their jingles. Living in Michigan now, Taco Hell is it for fast food "Mexican". Apparently one was built a few years ago in Metro Detroit. Not sure where. Dearborn maybe?

Last time I had the new "Del Taco" food... nothing was the same on the menu from the old days. The "El Scorcho" sauce (which was in a packet, no salsa bar) tasted the same, and so did the nacho cheese. That was about it.
