Since I had nothing going on, I went on a solo ride on Christmas Day. Just me, my 2000 Triumph Speed Triple 955i, drum n' bass tunes in my helmet, and OC's beautiful coastline.

I first went down the 55 to PCH, then followed PCH south to Dana Point. I almost kept going south to San Clemente, but I decided to head back north.

Headed back north on PCH. Got to Bolsa Chica when I heard my helmet camera beep, telling me that it was out of space. I wanted to take a break so I tried stopping at the Bolsa Chica ecological reserve, but they wanted to charge $15 to park.

I headed back down to Huntington Beach because it's free to park and took a break.

It was a good three hour ride by myself. I had about 2 1/2 hours of helmet cam footage until the card was full. I cut that 2.5 hours down to about 11 1/2 minutes of hopefully interesting footage.

The coastline is absolutely beautiful. My favorite parts are around Crystal Cove because of the beautiful visuals and how PCH really opens up, and the Huntington Beach / Bolsa Chica area for the same reasons.

I need to take trips like this more often.
