  • @AntiGravDisclosure It's a very different instrument, my friend. All the guitarists I've ever seen get hold of a sitar & go BOOOIINNGG on the strings, trying to imitate, with NO knowledge of technique or Indian music, Indian sounds. Their fingers go all over the fret board. To them it's just a twangt guitar.

  • I'm fairly sure that all Thaats are the same going up as they are going down. The Raag Kamaj is

    Aroha = S G M P D N S (notice the shuddah Ni)

    Avaroha = S. n D P M G R S (turns to Ni Komal)

    I'm afriad you've confused the Kamaj Thaat and Kamaj Raag.
