  • Poul Eric a true champion and a great gentleman

  • @shahru98 you're just racist.

  • poul erik stupid player

  • defending champion is a true champion

it shows the strength of character to defend a throne, most one time champ screwed up..

  • in b4 "hurr durr atouding hurr durr" retards

  • Thanks for the schooling on youtube, you really showed me! No I've never heard of any of them, your wisdom is astouding. (*rolls eyes)

Please learn english. It's called reading comprehension.

  • @TheHighwaytoHell : There was no need for LD to 'craft his game' after Larsen when there were just so many of his countrymen whose calibre of play were classes above Larsen. Maybe you have never heard of Yang Yang, Zhao Jianhua or even Tang Hsien Hu who was known in the badminton world as 'The Thing'?

  • only the ignorant can sum enough courage to put down legendary players as these

and badminton like all other sports improve upon every generation

just because they were not as fast as LinDan or smashes as hard, doesnt mean they made no contributions to the development of the sport

it is like calling michael jordan a garbage after having kobe bryant

they represent their era, like lim swie king, like zhao jian hua

  • the sound of their strings is funny lol

  • To those who say Poul Erik is outdated now, I would think again. Sure, he don't have the fantastic speed of Lin Dan, but he is the master of deception and can cut angles on a court and catch you on the wrong foot with the flick of the wrist. I was lucky enough to watch him play Dong Jiong for the Olympic Gold on 1996 and the crowd was just laughing at how ridiculously clever and accurate he is.

If I was forced to take a bet, I would give Lin Dan the nod, but only just.
