I've heard on so many reviews that the guitar is awesome but the pickup is trash. If you love the guitar, spend the extra dough and by a quality pickup to do it justice.

its almost like a hybrid between "regular" conventional sized guitars and the small travel type, the perfect guitar for a gigging musician

But that would defeat the purpose of a quality guitar i guess but it's up to you.
