CNN's Wolf Blitzer interviewed Caldwell Esselstyn Jr., MD and Dean Ornish MD, the doctors whose diet former President Bill Clinton has used to successfully return to his high school weight -- and to reverse his serious heart disease.

The video starts with about a minute of Clinton's interview, then cuts to several minutes of riveting commentary from the two esteemed plant-based doctors.

  • He managed to cure himself physically but to cure himself mentally he'll have to step out of the corrupt game he plays.

  • @Watchdawg I can definitely appreciate that. I have no use for Clinton (Mena Connection) + a number of other issues, however, all that aside, I'm glad to see the mainstream media helping to promote a healthy lifestyle and ways to reverse heart disease.... not so much for Clinton's sake, but for the other 99% ;o)

  • @tickyul Interesting, as I see it the other way around. Forcing infacts to eat meat, dairy and other animal products, knowing that it causes all sorts of diseases and auto-immune diseases, and then as they are older, allowing them to eat fast food and soda pop - that seems more criminal to me. No one every died from eating too many fruits and veg, however the number one killers are heart disease and cancer - scientifically proven to be a direct link.

  • Mr. Clinton may well be more remembered in history for his post-presidential example in using food as medicine. Shake in your boots, Big Pharma!!!

  • war criminal grows a selfish conscience? semi veganism only for health . a slow death is better than a quick one.

  • Cholersterol is NOT an essential nutrient, your body manufactures cholesterol from fatty acids for those purpses, but you do not have to consume anilmal and cholesterol to ensure the development of infants and toddlers - that's riiculous tickyul

  • @boggin828 Cholesterol is very, very important to the Nervous System for proper development. Invivo production in infants and toddlers is unreliable at best. But you can experiment on your child, put the Vegancult ideology ahead of the proper growth and development of your kid.....that is your choice. Iron is another thing lacking in the Vegancult diet........Non-heme iron is poorly absorbed.......this can lead to poor neurological development.

  • @DianeDi understood AND agreed..... nice to meet a "like" mind

  • @JimmyBootts Yeah, the school system - get them when their young ---- works every time, plus they'll be using those prescription drugs sooner. It's interesting how my understanding of "lies" we and our folks were fed are so interconnected with corporations, government, greed and corruption. Not going to say anymore, as I'm sure you are well aware. Thanks and Happy New Year to you as well.

  • @DianeDi one step at a time for most of us... most of us have been taught all our lives that milk and meat are the food groups.. school system is the worst.. but our parents were fooled also.... we try.... glad to see your passionate... one day i'll get there.. Happy New Year...

  • @JimmyBootts Sorry - I get so wound up at times. Glad you know about dairy - it's just so hard to get through to people about their beloved milk products and the hormone issue. ;o)

  • @DianeDi Ok... but it doesn't help matters.. was just saying at least natural meat would be slightly better than modified...and i totally agree about drinking milk..
