@siam2348 Hi, yes, you have to wonder. It was halted when I was there a year ago. At that time there was some sort of dispute. The workers were getting paid $3 a day, poor fellows, and being forced to work overtime, from what I got from the local papers. The whole thing seems to have ground to a halt after the economic crisis of 2008.

if this was the efforts of cambodians alone, and not korean developers looking to exploit a smaller country in order to get rich.. then i'd be okay with this project. but it's not, and although cambodia will "prosper" because of this, i just see our country losing further and further control over its resources... it's sad but i guess that's the price you pay to succeed quickly.
